Daydream Designs: Saying Goodbye

Hello Everyone. It's Monday and normally I would say it's "Daydream Monday and time for me to share another project created with the fabulous products at Daydream Designs".

But that is not going to happen today. Unfortunately, the owner of the store, who has become such a dear friend to me has had to close the shop due to personal reasons. I can't begin to tell you how much I am going to miss her wonderful creations and the love and fellowship with all the fabulous ladies from the Dream Team.

I want to publicly thank Diane for having faith in me and offering me a position on her team and working with me until I could get the hang of working with digital images. I also want her to know that I will continue to keep her in my prayers and that I admire her for doing what God has led her to do at this time.

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

Daydream Designs: February

Hi everyone and welcome to another Daydream Monday. It's time for me to share another project created with some of the fabulous digital products available at Daydream Designs.

It's a new month and time for a new calendar. I used the following products to create my February calendar...
 2013 Desktop Calendar

Sending You Love Digi Papers

Ticket to Bliss Color Digi Set

I used Photoshop Elements to manipulate and layer the individual digital elements. Once I had everything arranged the way I wanted it, I merged the layers and printed out the calendar at 6x6. I mounted it onto some coordinating cardstock from DCWV.

Daydream Designs: January Calendar

Hello Everyone and welcome to my first Daydream Monday of 2013. I know it's been a long while since I've posted anything to my blog and to my loyal followers and readers, I apologize. Sometime back in December I was thrown a curve ball (so to speak) regarding my health, and it required some time to just sit back, take stock of everything, and ponder my life and the steps I've been taking. I took the entire month off from all of my Design Teams and just focused on my family and loved ones. I'm still dealing with my "curve ball" but I feel it is time to get on with things. I intend to keep pushing forward and keep praying for the Lord to turn that "curve ball" in the opposite direction.

It's time for me to share another project created with some of the fabulous digital products available at Daydream Designs. This week I am sharing a digital calendar that I created in Photoshop Elements using some fun products that Diane has in the shop.

Once I had everything layered the way I wanted it; I printed it out and mounted it onto Orchid Opulence cardstock. The calendar once mounted measures approximately 6.5 x 6.5 and is the perfect size for my teller station at work. I plan on making one for every month of the year.

Supplies: 2013 Desktop Calendar; Snowbaby Sentiment Set; Snowbaby Color Digi Set; Winter Chill Papers (all from Daydream Designs); Photoshop Elements; Orchid Opulence cardstock (retired).

Sentimental Sundays: Non-Traditional Christmas Colors

Hello everyone. I wish you all a blessed Sunday. I just realized it's been one whole week since my last post. That wasn't intentional. I've been going through some medical testing and awaiting the results and I haven't felt the best. So, I had to skip out on some of my designing commitments last week. I'm hoping this week brings good news and renewed energy for my crafting passions.

Now, it's time for a new challenge at Sentimental Sundays. This is a fun one. We are challenging you to use non-traditonal Christmas colors on your project.

I decided to go with pink and teal...

I used the following products from Daydream Designs...

Supplies: Blushing Bride CS; Petal Pink and Peacock Liquid Pearls; Spellbinders Lacy Squares; Photoshop Elements.

Daydream Designs: Bushel & a Peck

Hi everyone and welcome to another Daydream Monday. It's time for me to share another project created with some of the fabulous digital products available at Daydream Designs.

Today I am working with the Bushel and a Peck Digi Set.

Using Photoshop Elements I layered and merged three of the images together to create my own scene.
I printed the merged image out and proceeded to coloring with my Copic markers. Coloring is still not an area that I am confident in so, you won't see me do this a whole lot unless I start improving. It's just that I really love fall and the wonderful fall scenery I couldn't resist but give the coloring a try.
I decided to fussy cut it out and leave a bit of the white border.
Supplies: Daydream Designs Bushel and a Pick Digi stamp set; Verve Plain Jane sentiment stamp; Sizzix Sizzlits dies; Real Red, Handsome Hunter, and River Rock CS; Copic Markers, Photoshop Elements.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I hope you are having a blessed week!
