Unity Friends with Flair

Hello all my Friends with Flair! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. It really means a lot to me.

I used an image and a sentiment from this great store kit from March 2010. It is called Adventures in Happiness...

I wanted to be able to incorporate a die cut from my Cricut cartridge collection and I remembered that this adorable set included a pitcher of lemonade along with the fun sentiment.

I used my Simply Charmed Cartridge and my Cricut to cut out this glass of lemonade using some Recollections cardstock and a patterned paper from the Margarita collection by g c d Studios.


Here is the finished product...

Kinda makes you thirsty, doesn't it?

Love Bug

Today I have a card to share with you that I had so much fun creating...

 

Using my Cricut and the Simply Charmed cartridge I cut out this adorable Love Bug. The base of the bug was cut with Basic Black cardstock from Stampin' Up! The other layers were cut with the Butterfly Wings cardstock collection from Recollections. I sprayed the top layer of the bug with Tattered Rose Glimmer Mist and the heart was sprayed with Starfish Glimmer Mist to add a little shimmer. It's incredible how this stuff can totally transform a piece of plain cardstock into shimmering beauty. Now I know why everyone loves this stuff so much! My sentiment was stamped in Red Magic VersaMagic Ink using a sentiment from the Say it in Style stamp set from Close to My Heart. The red heart patterned paper is a scrap from stash so, I can't give proper credit to the manufacturer.
