Life is a Beach: Title Words

Hello blogging friends!

Today, I am going to take you on an exploration of the "title words" creative feature on the Life is a Beach Cricut Cartridge.

"Title Words" are great little phrases that will work great on any of your summer/beach themed cards and layouts. Each title word comes with an image welded to it.

Here is the title word I chose to use on my card:

I cut this out on cardstock and then sprayed it with some homemade glimmer mist.

Since I chose to work with the title word escape I knew that I wanted to use this digi-stamp from Sweet N Sassy stamps:

I thought it would be nice to accent the image with more of those little leaves that are welded to the title word. So, I cut some out at 2in" and sprayed them with my homemade glimmer mist:

Here is the end result...

This card, which I have decided to call "Escape to an Ocean Paradise" is perfect for "The Beach" project call they have going on a Practical Scrappers so I am going to email it to them and see if they pick it up.

Qualifies for the following challenges:

Craft Your Passion~Anything Goes
Fantabulous Cricut~Water Themed Project
Sentimental Sundays~Anything Goes

Well, I hope you enjoyed our exploration this week! Next week my "partner in Cricut crafting crime" Sami will be taking you through an exploration of the "layers" creative feature on the Life is a Beach cartridge.

Practical Scrappers Published Me!

I just checked my email and found a happy little surprise! I had submitted this layout to Practical Scrappers for their "Little Girls" publication call.

The email said "Congrats you've been published on Practical Scrappers". I had totally forgot about submitting it so, WOW! what a nice surprise.

Thank you, Practical Scrappers for finding my work "worthy" of publication.
