Hello blogging friends! I'm here today with a card created for the Classy Cards N Such Challenge. Our challenge this week is "Sunflower Inspired".
As soon as I saw this challenge I knew that I would be pulling out my French Country designer paper by Graphic 45. I literally am in love with every single sheet in this paper pad!
I started with a 4.25 x 5.5 cardstock base. I distressed the edges of the sunflower paper from the French Country paper pad to add to my card base. Next using Lattice Rectangles
by Spellbinders and white cardstock, I die-cut a lovely rectangle to
stamp my sunflower on. I colored it and then added a green bling
rectangle from the Blue/Green Lattice Rectangles Nestabling around the sunflower and just inside the lattice edges. I added some Mustard Seed Distress Ink around the lattice edges.
For my next layer, I used the opposite side of the sunflower paper and a
slightly darker cardstock to create a long rectangle. I glued the pieces
together and then ran them through my Cuttlebug with the Anna Griffin Matelasse embossing folder. I love the weaved appearance you get from this folder. It makes my sunflower appear as if it is poking out over a fence.
For finishing touches, I used the Teramo Labels
from Memory Box to die-cut a label to stamp my sentiment on. These
lovely little label die-cuts are perfect for stamping small sentiments
on and there are two other sets that Beverly carries in the store. I own
them all and will be showcasing more of them at a later date.
The stamp set I have used today is from Gina K Designs. It is a Stamp Set Duo called Thankful for you.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today and feel inspired to join the challenge. Thanks for stopping by!

Classy Cards N Such: Loving Mouse
Hello Everyone! It's time for me to share a new card made with products from the Classy Cards N Such Online Store.
I created a card to showcase one of the many fabulous Stampavie stamps that Beverly carries in the Classy Cards 'n Such Store. Today I am working with Mouse with Sunflower. I like this image because it can be used to send many different sentiments such as thinking of you, hello, happy birthday, and with love, just to name a few. I chose to make him a loving mouse for this card.
My card base measures 5.5 x 5.5 inches and is a basic gray color. I chose gray to work off of the gray tones in the papers I had chosen from the French Kiss by Glitz Designs paper pad.
After layering my first pattern onto the base, I cut a 2.5 x 5.5 piece off of another pattern and layered it on a gray mat and then adhered to my card base off to the left side. Next, using Spellbinders Lacy Circles Dies, I die cut a gray circle and embossed it with the Dots embossing folder by Crafts Too. This was added to the lower portion of my base.
After coloring my stamped image with Copic markers, I die cut it out using the Spellbinders Labels Eighteen and adhered to my card. I stamped my sentiment on a smaller Labels Eighteen and popped it up with foam pads. For finishing touches, I added three Smokey Brown Rhinestones to the bottom and the top of the card.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are having a blessed weekend.

Clean and Simple @ Sentimental Sundays
Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a blessed day. It's time for a new challenge at Sentimental Sundays. This week we want you to make a clean and simple card and don't forget your sentiment!
I have plenty of un-inked rubber and today I decided to play with one of the stamp set duos from Gina K Designs.
I used the "Believe in Yourself" stamps set duo from Gina K Designs. I love to make cards with encouraging sentiments and this set surely fits the bill.
Clean and simple is a style that I really struggle with, but with practice I'm getting a little better. I case'd this card design from a 2010 issue of Stamp It magazine. I find it is a good source for CAS card designs.
Be sure to stop by Sentimental Sundays to see more inspiration from my fellow designers and to find out what our prize is this week!

For my sample I made my first-ever all white card! I really did not think I was going to like this idea at all but, I'm very pleased with the end result.
I used a pearlized white cardstock for my base and all the diecuts. My sentiment and stamped frame is from Gina K Designs. This is also my first ever clean and simple card. It's not an easy style for me as I tend to like to embellish and layer like crazy.
Be sure to stop by The Perfect Sentiment and see what my fellow DT Members created. You are sure to be inspired.
Thanks for stopping by today! God Bless You.

Girfriends @ The Perfect Sentiment
This week at The Perfect Sentiment we are challenging you to create a card with a sentiment of friendship and make it "girly".
Our Sponsor this week is MelJen's Designs! They will award one lucky random winner 4 free digis of their choice!
I decided to work with flowers. Girls love flowers!
These flowers are 3-D Art from Classy Cards N Such Online Store. These are so fun and easy to work with. They come with a base image and then you just build up the image by adding layers of different parts of the flower with foam pads. Putting them together is a cinch and I use them anytime I need a quick and easy elegant card. My sentiment is from Gina K Designs. I surrounded it with Liquid Pearls in Rouge.
Be sure to stop by The Perfect Sentiment to see what my fellow designers created!
