This wonderful Sunday we are challenging you to create something for Father's Day and of course you must use a sentiment.
I don't have a lot of masculine stamp images so, this was a real challenge for me. I decided to dig deep into my stash and use some Tag Art from Hot Off The Press. WOW! This is some really old stuff I have from when I first attempted scrapbooking back in the late 90's. Does anyone else remember Tag Art or the company Hot Off The Press?
I based my card design on this sketch from Verve's Week One June Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The Verve Divas take turns designing sketches each Friday and they are always very challenging.
I'm never real sure of myself when I make a masculine card but, I figured I couldn't go wrong with browns and blues as well as hemp twine and distressed edges. The images on the tags seemed fairly masculine to me and I thought they went well with this scripture stamp from Verve.
